The Birth of A Company

In December of 2006 The Jude Resource Center Inc. came into being.  Formed out of necessity the founding members had recently purchased two Community Based Residential Facilities.  Jude was named in memory of Benny & Esther Brownell’s Jude Memorial Nursing Home an inspiration to many of the founding members.  The Brownell's gave many people their start in the health care industry and the founding members wanted to carry on the torch that the Brownell’s lit so many years ago.

Once the members realized how important training was to the staff of their newly acquired CBRF’s, they enlisted the talent of retired registered nurse Lynn Minkowski.  Seeing the results and skill Lynn’s 30+ years of experience brought to the table, the board approached her to begin the Jude Education & Training Center, a program of JRCI.  Lynn took on the challenge and soon your CBRF Training Video’s became a reality.  Along the way Lynn took the initiative to begin a Certified Nursing Assistant program at the Jude Campus and introduced Jude to St. Joseph Convent, in Campbellsport.  This site serves the Fond du Lac area as the second JETC site for CNA training. Now St. Francis Center, which sits on the grounds of the convent, is the new headquarters for the CNA training under the direction of Tina Rawlins, RN.
